Ahhh, can you smell that? The sweet aroma of freshly baked gingerbread, pies and cakes. Words can’t even express how much we are all looking forward to the holiday goodies. What we’re not looking forward to is the craziness of it all. We just want more time for entertaining our friends, family get-togethers and just some good ole milk and cookies in front of the fireplace. We’re teaming up with Best Buy to handle all the holiday prep and more. Awesome, Right?!
What we really need an upgrade on is our range. I’m not even sure if ours is cooking at an accurate temperature any more. Usually I have to turn it up 25 degrees to get things done in the cooking time in the recipe. We are looking at two options to take our kitchen to the next level for the holidays and beyond. Check them out below and help us decide!!
I’m super excited to introduce you to the Whirlpool WGG555S0BS! It makes cooking for a large group easy with all its options. I love that it offers double ovens that fits in the space of a standard range and lets you cook two dishes at two different temperatures at once. This oven allows you to keep part of your meal warm while the other parts finishes cooking. Furthermore, You can cook in one oven while cleaning the other! WHOA!
I’m also considering the Frigidaire FGIF3061NF for my holiday kitchen upgrade. This one features induction cooking that enables you to boil water in less than two minutes! Bring on the chicken tortellini!! The burners on this range provide exceptional control of your cooking temperature than found on earlier electric ranges. This Frigidaire range also includes a convection oven which circulates the air in the oven for quicker baking time. Can you image the cookies we can bake in one afternoon?? With the fabulousness of induction cooking, the time spent cleaning up is way less because spills (and you know we have a lot of those) don’t burn onto the cooktop. I did notice that iron or steel pots and pans must be used on an induction cooktop but that is a small requirement as we already have tons of those.
Its amazing how a technology upgrade in the kitchen will allow you to get the food done the way you want it prepared! It also saves time so you can spend it out of the kitchen with the ones you love. Which range would you pick? Who are you cooking for this holiday season? What is the one dish your family counts on to make the holiday special?
