Hi friends!! It’s time for something cool to celebrate the warm weather we are finally having!! The first thing that I want to eat when it’s hot out is some ICE COLD WATERMELON!! Doesn’t that sound perfect right about now??!
This simple watermelon sorbet recipe only has 3 ingredients and water so it’s doesn’t take a lot of effort at all. It’s called So Good Sorbet because every time someone eats it, they always exclaim, “It’s SO GOOD!”
1 cup Super fine Sugar (you can use granulated but you’ll need to put in a blender for about 30 seconds before adding any other ingredients)
1 cup Water
8 cup Seedless Watermelon
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
In a small pan, add sugar and water and bring to a boil.
Cook until sugar is dissolved, then set aside to cool.
Puree watermelon in batches and place in a large bowl.
Add sugar syrup and lemon juice and mix well.
Place in a 13×9 dish, cover and place in freezer until firm.
Puree frozen mixture before serving.
Do you ever make your own sorbet? What’s your favorite flavor?
