This post about our favorite camping foods is sponsored by Foodie.com. Thank you!!
Spring is upon us and that can only mean summer is coming up soon! For us summer MEANS camping!
I love camping!! Let me explain that statement a little bit. I love GLAMPING! You know, GLAMOUROUS CAMPING! I can’t take just a tent, I have to have a cozy bed to snuggle in with my favorite pup. Often we share it with the rest of the family too! Did somebody say wi-fi. Yeah, I admit it, I require that too!
What I don’t love is food that just doesn’t feel like you put a lot of heart into it. Let’s face it when you’re outside for a long time you get HUNGRY! I don’t want to just roast weenies on a stick, I want a delicious meal that leaves you feeling all cozy on the inside. I want my family and guests to exclaim, “YUM, MORE PLEASE!” Oh and even more I want it to be the most delicious food they have ever eaten at a campground!
I have scoured the web for the simplest, most delicious, creative recipes that don’t require a ton of clean up.
What’s on my list( Warning: drooling may occur) :
1. Campfire Chili
2. Grilled Corn on the Cob
3. Tortellini and Shrimp Salad
4. Gourmet Vegetarian Nachos
5. Trail Mix Energy Bites
6. Mushroom, Tomato and Mozzarella Dip
7. Dutch Oven Stuffed Peppers

10. Tilapia Piccatta with Snap Peas

Which recipe was your favorite? What is your ideal meal while camping?
Disclosure: I’m a member of Glam Media and their Foodie channel. They sponsored this post (the trail mix won’t buy itself, right?) however they in no way influenced my love of the recipes shared here. All of the dishes published here are ones I would eat myself and serve to my family. Thank you for visiting and I hope your camping trip is just as fabulous as ours.
