If there’s one dessert that my family asks for, it’s PIE! Whether its a fruit pie, custard pie or even a cream pie they jump for joy. They’re absolute top of the list favorite is PEANUT BUTTER PIE! I love to make this version because it’s super easy and quick to make. It’s totally fine to use a pie pan to make a whole pie or use individual jars like I did this time. You can also use this to make your own versions using different crusts and containers. Next time, I’m thinking about adding bananas to make it even yummier. Additionally, this is an awesome recipe to make with kids because it requires no cooking. Warning: licking of the screen may commence.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Mini Pies
1 chocolate graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 pkg cream cheese
1/4 cup semi sweet mini chocolate chips (for garnish)
Set your cream cheese out to allow it to soften. Combine the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter in a medium bowl. Place about two heaping teaspoons in your small jar. Be sure to press it into the bottom of your jar.
Next, using your stand mixer (best investment ever for me) or your hand mixer if you don’t have one, mix the powdered sugar and heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Place it in a medium bowl in the refrigerator while you prepare the next ingredients.
Place the cream cheese and the peanut butter in the mixer bowl and mix until combined. Next, add 1/2 the prepared whipped cream to the bowl. Mix just until it is uniform throughout. Add the other 1/2 of the whip cream and repeat. Place the mixture into your favorite piping bag (you can also just spoon it in) and fill up each jar just below the rim of the jar.
These mini pies in a jar are just plain delicious. They take the work out of your next family dinner because they look fancy without a lot of time or work. These are especially great to make the night before. The requests have already started coming in for me to make these again. I’m not surprised though, who doesn’t love a peanut butter and chocolate combination?!
