Pumpkins, pretty fall colors and popcorn balls are some of my favorite things about the autumn season. It brings me back to all of the times that I spent with my grandma jumping in the leaf piles while she raked and getting sticky making popcorn balls right along side her. Even more delightful was sitting down and eating the popcorn balls while she talked about all the fall fun to come. Celebrate the season with me and create your own cherished memories with these awesome Caramel Hot Chocolate Popcorn Balls!
Please don’t lick your screen. Follow these instructions to make these Caramel Hot Chocolate Popcorn Balls!
What you will need:
12 cups of popped popcorn (with un-popped kernels removed)
11 oz. package of caramels, unwrapped
1/4 cup milk
1/3 Cup hot chocolate mix
1 cup mini marshmallows
Good Cook Jolly Time Popcorn Baller
After popping your favorite popcorn, place your caramels in a small nonstick saucepan with the milk. Stir constantly over medium heat until the mixture is smooth.
Drizzle the mixture over the popcorn and fold it together until it’s well mixed. Lightly mix in your mini-marshmallows.
Lightly spray your Good Cook Jolly Time Popcorn baller and scoop a generous amount of popcorn into each side of the baller. Gently press both parts together and place the popcorn ball on wax paper. While your popcorn balls are still warm lightly dust them with the hot chocolate mix.
Let cool, serve and enjoy!!
