When it comes to causes, I jump at the chance to help, especially when I can be involved with my blog! September 19th began the Official Million Moms Challenge along with ABC News, the United Nations Foundation and the official Million Moms Community powered by BlogFrog. I’m getting involved because I want to bring awareness to the importance of a maternal focused global health initiative. I hope you too will join me because you don’t have to be a mom to help a mom. You just have to be one in a million. Maternal healthcare is imperative for ALL moms.
We can join together to bring 1 million Americans together to connect to millions of moms in developing countries who deserve pregnancy healthcare, a safe birthing experience and care for their child. Everyday as I look at my children’s smiling, healthy faces I am grateful to have been blessed with two wonderful children. That is a blessing I want to pass on to Moms and families all over the world!!
Here’s how you can join in:

I’ve raised my hands to bring awareness to these important issues, and I thought you would like to join me.
The Million Moms Challenge is a joint venture between ABC News and the UN Foundation in conjunction with Baby Center and world class partners around the world including many NGOs.
You don’t have to be a mom to help a mom, you just have to be one in a million.
I hope you’ll join me now:
In October, BabyCenter will host the BabyCenter’s ABC Million Moms Challenge Global Baby Shower, an online party that will be held on Twitter and The BabyCenter Community. This party, which will incorporate prizes from Million Moms Challenge partners and other cause-related organizations, is a fun way for moms to get together and raise awareness about maternal health issues. BlogFrog and One.org will also co-host the party. Keep your eye out for the official date (coming soon)!
