30 Days To The ULTIMATE Clean Home

How long has it been since you have had the ULTIMATE clean home? I can’t remember the last time I was really satisfied on how everything looked.

I am definitely not a clean freak or someone who has all day to make things sparkle. I am the kind of person though that feels more peaceful when the areas of my home are bright and shiny. I made a list of 30 days to an Ultimate Clean Home to tackle at least one major area a day.

These tasks usually take around 30 minutes or even less (except maybe the windows and carpets tasks) if you can get the whole family to pitch in. If you don’t have one of these areas in your home, feel free to skip the day and get back on track when your next item comes up. There are benefits to having a smaller living space: LESS to clean!

You will notice that bathrooms (except the medicine cabinet) aren’t on this list and that’s because those mostly need a daily 10 minute clean up to keep them fresh and germ free.

Be sure to PIN it for an early jump on spring cleaning!!

30 days to an ultimate clean home

Are you a person that works better with a list? Me TOO! I feel so accomplished and happy when I know that I have completed everything. Without a list I find myself doing tasks willy nilly and not ever getting one thing totally done. CAN YOU SAY SQUIRREL? lol.

The microwave is always the most disgusting item and it doesn’t come to mind unless I am cooking something in it. What’s your most forgotten chore?

Oh, I do forget the microwave till I have to use it, and then I get so frustrated at myself. Another thing I forget — and this is weird, since I look in it at least once per day — is the mirror above the sink in the restroom. Somehow I just peer right past all the splashes and toothpaste dots and heaven-only-knows whatever else is spotting up the view. What a goofball!

Love this list! Hope it helps! 🙂

      Hey Andi-Roo!
I just looked at my bathroom mirror too and now its all sparkled up. Thanks for the reminder, lol.

I love lists and now I just need a list to remind me to complete my lists, haha.

      Thanks so much for visiting!
      Xo,
      Michelle

My boys will never think to clean the microwave and it was getting disgusting over the holidays. Got it cleaned up a bit and feel much better about cooking in it now.

Easy clean for microwave: (1) a bowl of water on high for 5 minutes (2) let it sit in the microwave for 5 minutes to steam-clean it (3) Wipe out the microwave with a paper towel. Done! Easy Peasy!
