My good friend, Bobbie Crippen, and I have both been quite ill and our skin has gotten incredibly dry. I normally have very nice skin but my hands are so raw and itchy and dry that I am scratching them until they bleed and then some. I just can’t help myself because the skin is so dry and the itching is unbearable. This feeling reminds of when I had a terrible case of chicken pox as a child and my mom had to wrap my hands with bandages so I wouldn’t scratch. Bobbie has been going through the same thing.
