Awesome is calling!
Picture it, Father’s Day 2012 and the kids and I are discussing how excited we are to be presenting our favorite dad his very own iG1 Bluetooth Handset for iPhone. We are a definite iFamily and love when we find a product that enhances everything we already love about our iPhones.
Setting up this handset is super easy! Out of the box there is only 4 simple steps to starting the awesomeness. First, you simply slide the on/off switch to ON. Next you press and hold the call button(the one with the little green phone picture) for 3 seconds until you hear the startup sound. Thirdly you set up the iPhone by going to Settings>General>Turn ON Bluetooth. Lastly, you select “Good Call”. This whole process takes less than 30 seconds. I adore a tech product with easy setup. I abhor those kinds of products that take 2 weeks to figure out before you can start using it. BONUS: This iPhone Handset is compatible with iPhone4s, iPhone4, iPhone 3Gs and iPhone3G!
There is so much more to love about this iPhone docking station! You can make and receive calls using Bluetooth and Siri, charge your iPhone and sync it with iTunes too! Furthermore, your iPhone does not have to be docked in order to make and receive calls!! This is an awesome feature and allows you to access anything on your phone while still continuing your conversation on the handset.
We loved the compact and stylish design. It takes up minimal desk space and is easily accessed. We tried out several different cases on our iPhones to see if all of them were compatible with Good Call. Most cases we own worked with Good Call. The only one that didn’t work for us was the “OtterBox” brand of cases. They were just too bulky to fit. This really isn’t an issue for us though because the handset can be utilized without the iPhone docked.
Even the wall charger was well thought out! We can still use the other plug for whatever we need. We have had other tech devices that have been so large its impossible to plug anything else in but that’s not an issue with Good Call!
The Good Call Bluetooth handset is a lifesaver!! REALLY! Here is my husband trying out his first call on the handset. We live in a rural area and cell service can be sketchy. We can place the Good Call base in the perfect spot(where we actually have 3 bars) for receiving calls and be free to move about. Before he literally had to stand or sit perfectly still or the call would drop. Since he makes a TON of business calls from home, he is ecstatic about having this handset! What a better impression to be able to actually finish a call without having to call the person back 2 or 3 times!!
His home office is now complete!! What a great Father’s day gift!! IT is so fabulous to give a gift that will be used for years to come!!

i get better reception on my phone upstairs but i hate staying up there! so this would be amazing so i can stay in the living room and talk to my husband who is always out of town.
